Saturday, 14:00-15:30
Come along to a relaxed day-time social, to unwind with some Chai and destressing activities. Bring your friends and meet other BAME students, over a warm, soothing and aromatic cup of Chai.
Saturday, 16:30-17:45
Join our President and Education Officer in conversation with Academics from across schools, to discuss the experiences and challenges of navigating race and ethnicity within academia. Come to listen, come to ask questions, come to learn. This conversation is about creating a safe space, sharing personal experiences, as well as being honest even when it feels uncomfortable to do so. Speaker list TBA soon!
Saturday, 18:30-20:00
Come and join us for a relaxed discussion and socialising evening downstairs at Aikmans and meet fellow queer POC! This event is about creating a safe space and exchanging experiences that are specific to people at the intersections of communities of queerness and communities of colour.
Sunday, 11:00-12:30
Kick off your Sunday with our BAMEFest dodgeball tournament! Sign up with your friends, or as an individual player and meet your team on the day. Then fight your way to the top of the table and leave victorious with a £10 gift voucher.
